Watercolored Easter eggs

I realize this may not be the most innovative option out there ( look no further than pinterest for some of those), but I think watercoloring Easter eggs has some of the prettiest results without a lot of prep. I wanted to keep things simple this year, and since Reese has been really into watercolors lately, it seemed like the perfect option.
~
For a minute I was worried we would have only black and brown Easter eggs(see her reaching for the brown), but I tried to sit back and let her create. She eventually added in color. Once they dried, we turned them over to paint the bottom portion.

Happy Easter everyone!

Bedroom Reveal

I finally got around to snapping photos of our bedroom and thought I would share with you before I change out the fur blanket for something less wintery. We have lived in a lot of different homes over the years, but this is the first time it's felt pulled together. I'm not sure if I'd call it done (a bed frame and rug would be nice), but it's pretty close!
~
We found this reclaimed wood, and Connor added some caster wheels to create a low bench. It cost a whopping $10 and adds a lot to the room.

I was a little unsure of this antique orchard ladder at first, but next to the midcentury dresser(thank you craigslist) it looks fresh and modern.

You've seen this nook before, but it's my favorite corner of our bedroom.

That's it guys, hope you're enjoying these spring temperatures!

For All Things Green

We are all overly ready for Spring I think, yes? Warmer weather has been flirting with us here in Indy….just when I think it's time to pack away our coats we get snow or icy rain (last week). So forgive me if I'm still holding my breath during this week of warmer temperatures. Regardless of whether or not it's here to stay, I'm in desperate need of some green in my life and I'm assuming you are too. So, here are some of my favorite vases/planters/terrariums from around the web. Me? Well, I'm off to my local green house for a playdate for Reese. Cheers!
